I’m Michael Langdon, a community college English professor who was fortunate enough to be able to take a year-long sabbatical in Mexico in 2015. I live in San Leandro, California, with my husband, Brad, and I work at Chabot College, in Hayward. My sabbatical project involved, among other things, finding contemporary Mexican LGBT literature that I could translate into English for use in the queer literature class that I teach at Chabot. I have subsequently published some of my translations. You can read some of the stories I translated here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.
