About Me

I’m Michael Langdon, a community college English professor who was fortunate enough to be able to take a year-long sabbatical in Mexico in 2015.  I live in Oakland, California, with my husband, Brad, and I work at Chabot College,  in Hayward. My sabbatical project involved, among other things, finding contemporary Mexican LGBT literature that I could translate into English for use in the gay and lesbian literature class that I teach at Chabot.  I have subsequently published some of my translations.  You can read one of the stories I translated here.
